The compact Petzl Micro Traxion has 3 distinct modes of operation (pulley, progress capture pulley, ascender), making it the ideal companion for extended vertical adventures. Use it for hauling light loads, self-belay, ascending rope and self-rescue. Aluminum sheave mounted on a self-lubricating bearing. Toothed cam with self-cleaning slot -- works even on frozen or muddy ropes. Cam can be locked in open position so device can be used as a simple pulley. For use with ropes from 8 to 13 mm in diameter.
