DMM Professional The Captain Self-Orientating Throwing Hook. DMM Professional's The Captain is a high strength, self-orientating throwing hook that is primarily be used as a positioning aid. The unique design is meant to increase stability and create positioning options while performing complex jobs that need repositioning. The Captain's shackle reduces torsional friction and allows the hook to pivot onto any anchor (up to 90mm in diameter) to find a reliable position and location. This allows the user to use remote anchors to cross the workspace in a safe, controlled manner. Once the anchor has been secured, The Captain's forged metal design gives a rated strength of up to 18kN (dependent on anchor quality). The compact shape also allows the The Captain to be racked and stored with minimal fuss to reduce any chance of snagging.
