The development of Jameson’s NEW fiberglass COMPOSITLOCK™ Poles with fiber reinforced composite ferrule was in response to safety concerns from our customers.

According to the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA), "Electricity is a serious and widespread hazard to arborists. In fact, electricity causes about 15% of all fatalities in the tree care industry, making it the leading cause of worker fatalities." A ten-year study (2006-2016) conducted by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association found "while overall recordable injuries were down by approximately 50 percent in that time-frame, the number of serious incidents did not decline and rose significantly as a percentage of all events."

Responding in part to the TCIA EHAP® Program and the NRECA Commitment to Zero Contacts initiative, Jameson's CompositLock™ Fiberglass Poles seek to reduce the potential for conductivity from top-to-bottom and help prevent accidental electrical contact when working around energized utility lines.

Jameson's JE Series foam core pole is the highest quality fiberglass pole available.

• Foam core prevents debris and moisture build up inside pole and adds extra hoop strength and rigidity
• Polymer protective surface veil prevents fiber blooming at surface due to abrasion or ultra-violet light
• High visibility safety yellow color
• Meets requirements of OSHA Standard 1910.269(j)(1)(i): Individually tested to 100KV per foot for five minutes

Base Pole: JEC-6F  Rubber end cap and male ferrule to attach poles or tools. Provides solid foundation. Jameson recommends starting with Base Pole.

Extension Pole: JEC-6  Male and female ferrules to attach additional poles or tools. Provides additional length (workable height)

Saw Head Pole: JEC-6SFP  Female ferrule and permanently mounted saw head for attaching saw blade.
