This Australian designed and manufactured lowering device has been revamped to allow for pruning work. It was the first arborist lowering device of its kind in Australia. The Friction Drum is the ultimate load management device for the professional Arborist. This device greatly changed the way tree dismantling is performed. It is the fastest and safest way to dismantle a tree in a difficult location. The Friction Drum is also proven to reduce take-down time by up to 25%.
